A History of Polish Culture

This book is not an encyclopaedia about the history of Polish culture. It does not feature constitutional history, or economic history or the history of social struggles, or the history of literature, art and education. But while it does not feature the whole rich heritage of facts from these various areas, it does make use of them to show Polish culture as the national consciousness, which is expressed and which develops under the influence of all these various fields of life.
